After couple decades, it was time this tiled shower got cleaned up and regrouted. One day of cleaning mildew along tub line and removing old grout. The next day, new white grout installed on this retro tile shower with random pattern layout of navy blue tiles.

The grout color choice only highlighted the inconsistent lines of tile spacing by the other contractor. With the high contrast, instantly antiqued grout. They may have been able to salvage the shower with a grout removal. And maybe pop out and re-set a few of the tiles with lippage edges sticking out. But, the homeowner wanted it all removed and redone before Christmas. So, she got what she asked for.
